Variations are stronger than the original in some places! The work of deep knowledge and feeling. This is especially seen in the solo parties - they are more Frippian than Robert himself played back then. No tiny detail is missing, and a lot of wonder added.
Bought the original King Crimson LP when it first came out in late 69, and was a bit hesitant on this adaption, but the more I listen the more I like it - bloody wonderful !

挨拶程度の一曲目に続き、二曲目風に語りては、若干ルーズな原曲に比して新鮮な緊張感。エピタフはその緊張感そのままに、原曲をしのぐ抑揚と説得力。四曲目のムーンチャイルドはかなり饒舌でまさにSun Childですが、取りの宮殿では、その表現の豊かさが原曲のもつ美しさに磨きをかけています。原曲の世界観を最大限リスペクトしながら、オリジナルバンドのライブに匹敵する奥行きと広がりが感じられる編曲と演奏で、心から堪能させていただきました。ありがとうございます。エピタフ勢いでスキツォイドマンに流れれば、こわれちゃうくらいの結びがあったかもしれません。ぜひ生で聴きたいです。あらためてありがとうございました。
